Ever since Little Printer from Berg was announced I can’t stop thinking about it. What I find even more interesting is the new platform that it runs on called Berg Cloud, which will have a whole line of products eventually running on it. Little Printer lives in your home, bringing you news, puzzles and gossip from friends. Use your smartphone to set up subscriptions and Little Printer...

Thanks Steve, for inspiring and empowering creativity in all of us, and for everything else. The Macintosh was the computer I learned to use Adobe Pagemaker on as a kid and was the first computer I used to connect to the internet using a dial-up modem. I remember watching the above video above at a young age and getting the chills.

Thanks to Laura Deisley, Christian Long, Jeff Sharpe, and David Bill for having me along for the adventure. My role included all the graphic design for the event as well as leading a group of librarians and...

We shared ideas over meals and stories around the campfire. We canoed down the river as the sun was coming up and came back for cold showers and hot cups of tea. We planted vegetable seeds. We kneaded bread and cooked it on the fire. We drank Welsh apple cider in the pub late into the night. And we listened to a remarkable set of speakers who inspired us. All of this we did together, as we...

Pie Lab acted as our home base for our time in Greensboro, we ate there, met there, and did work in the back. It was also the only place to get internet access. Pie Lab, the newest eatery to open in Greensboro, Alabama, would be a familiar space to creatives who frequent their local cafes. It’s a place you can order a slice of Chocolate Bourbon Pecan pie, maybe some lemonade or coffee, read a...

We toured some of the early work of Sam Mockbee who started Rural Studio. We visited the first house out in Mason’s Bend that he built when the Rural Studio program started. There we met some of the girls who lived at the house. Lily gave one of the girls her camera so that she could take some photos, the first thing she did was aim the camera at me and take a photo. At the same time I...

We went to an old Cotton plant today, was amazing to think about what this place must have been like when it was up and running. Rust has always been something that I have been attracted to when photographing, so it was a great place for that.

Today, we did a Thinking Wrong exercise. John Bielnberg, he randomly points to a word on a page of a book after one of us had chosen a number. We then broke into groups, each with their own word. That word was put in the center of a huge sheet of paper, and then we wrote and drew everything that came to mind from that word. Then from all those words, we thought of other words, and on and on. ...

Recently, I found the work of Scout’s Honor Co. online, really awesome work! Scout’s Honor Co. was founded on a passion for all things classic, well-made, and enduring. I take great pride in my process and strive to give each & every client a unique, one of a kind experience. All designs start with a pen & paper, ensuring that the hand is at the heart of every piece.
