We toured some of the early work of Sam Mockbee who started Rural Studio. We visited the first house out in Mason’s Bend that he built when the Rural Studio program started. There we met some of the girls who lived at the house.

Lily gave one of the girls her camera so that she could take some photos, the first thing she did was aim the camera at me and take a photo. At the same time I took a photograph of her. The third photo above is her smiling when looking at the photograph she took of me on the screen. She then went on to photograph everyone else.
