As part of a new program called Our Campus, Our Planet at the University of Hartford, I was asked to design a shirt that would be given to all freshmen. The use of hand drawn type represents the do-it-yourself and get your hands dirty approach while at the same time the letters come together in different ways to resemble the community working together. The design stays away from the traditional and expected environmentally friendly visual references and is being printed on recycled shirts.
